In James 1:22-25 we can see that it says, we should not be like people, who look themselves in the mirror, and then, forget what they look like.
Looking ourselves in the mirror, is like looking to the Word of God, and seeing what it says that we are. We need to look at the Word of God all the time, 24/7, and try not to forget, what the Word of God says that we are. Of course, it is not possible for us to look to the Word of God, 24/7, but that is the aim for us, to try to as much as we can.
Only when we continue to look towards the Word of God, on a regular basis, only then, we can be free and be blessed – verse 25.
